Neal Scott is of counsel in the Buckhead office of Lueder, Larkin & Hunter. Neal has over 35 years experience as a trial attorney and litigator in general liability defense matters, including personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, premises liability incidents, and occurrences of all types. He has tried approximately 60 cases in courts throughout Georgia, state and federal, and has argued cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. Prior to Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, Neal practiced liability defense with both private firms and in-house for insurance companies. For over twenty years, Neal was Chief Trial Attorney in Zurich American Insurance Company’s Atlanta Staff Legal Office, and routinely handled serious and complex matters to resolution.

Neal is also a registered civil mediator and uses his extensive experience to assist parties in resolving disputes through mediation rather than litigation.

Neal graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics, and Mercer University Law School. He has received an “AV” pre-eminent raging from Martindale-Hubbell.

Neal, a native Atlantan, resides in Buckhead with his wife, Debra, two dogs and two cats. He enjoys sports (Braves, Falcons, SEC football and ACC basketball), live music, golf and travel.
