Melanie Markwalter is an associate attorney with the firm and works and lives in Augusta, Georgia. Melanie focuses mainly on residential real estate closings, but it also well versed in estate administration. Melanie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and will sit for the South Carolina bar in July of 2024.

Melanie graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Political Science. She graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Cinnamon and Oreo.
