Leigh C. Bond is an associate in the firm’s Alpharetta office where she focuses her practice on community association insurance defense.
Leigh earned her B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Georgia, graduating, cum laude with Honors. She then attended the University of Georgia School of Law, becoming a “double dawg”. While there, Leigh co-founded a chapter of Street Law (StreetLaw.org), served as the Executive Chair for the Black Law Students Association, and was a member of the mock trial team. She was also inducted into the Orr Inn of Court formerly known as the Chattahoochee Inn of Court.
Before joining the firm, Leigh gained experience in indigent defense, before then venturing out of the state of Georgia and on a nontraditional path outside of the courtroom. While living in Washington, DC, she taught adult students through a Veterans Upward Bound program and a public charter school for students seeking their GED. Upon returning to Atlanta, Leigh first worked with an Atlanta-based nonprofit and then resumed indigent defense work. Next, she transitioned to civil litigation with a plaintiff’s personal injury firm where she litigated for several years.
In her free time, Leigh likes to read (and buy too many books), listen to music, write about the law, and support local artists, nonprofits, and small businesses.
