Laurie Partain Lunsford graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Political Science. She continued her studies at the University of Georgia, earning her law degree in 2001.
In addition to being a former prosecutor with the Athens-Clarke County District Attorney’s Office, Laurie’s prior work experience includes over fifteen years in real estate law. Laurie began the practice of law as a real estate closing attorney at Carey Jarrard & Walker, LLP in Gainesville, Georgia. Prior to joining Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, LLC, she was a successful real estate solo practitioner for ten years in the Athens, Georgia area.
As the managing attorney of the Lueder, Larkin & Hunter Athens real estate office, Laurie focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, title curative matters, and contract review. She is also a member of the Real Property Law Section of the Georgia Bar Association.
In her spare time, Laurie enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
