Jacob practices in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office. His practice area focuses predominantly on defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.

Jacob graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to attending law school, he enjoyed a career in behavioral health as support staff. Jacob relocated to Charleston, South Carolina from Arizona and attended the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Jacob was a founding member of the Transactional Law Team and served as its Chair of Faculty and Judge Relations. His scholastic achievements include five CALI awards, the Arthur Gasque Howe Trial Advocacy Award, and Dean’s List member. Jacob graduated summa cum laude in 2022. Prior to joining the Lueder, Larkin & Hunter team, Jacob specialized in advanced legal writing for a local law firm.
