Darrelyn Hughes is an Associate within Lueder, Larkin, and Hunter, LLC’s community association law practice. Her practice focuses primarily on collections litigation. In 2011, Darrelyn began her higher-education at the University of North Georgia-Dahlonega. During her undergraduate career, she maintained leadership positions in the university’s debate team, orchestra, and Pre-Law Society. She was also the recipient of the Simone de Beauvoir Award for Excellence in Gender Studies, Feminist Theory, and Practice as a result of her academic research. In 2015, Darrelyn graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science.
Upon conclusion of her undergraduate studies, Darrelyn continued her education at Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, Darrelyn was a member of the Health Law Society and volunteered with the HELP Clinic representing indigent patients at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. In 2018, she graduated from the Georgia State University College of Law cum laude.
Prior to joining Lueder, Larkin, and Hunter, LLC, Darrelyn practiced creditors’ rights bankruptcy, where she predominantly represented the legal interests of mortgage servicers and auto-loan lenders in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases.
When she is not working diligently to address the legal needs of her clients, Darrelyn enjoys baking, playing music, and spending time with her husband.
